Jeremy Barnum is a doctoral student at Rutgers University – Newark and a Project Manager for the Rutgers Center on Public Security. He holds a Master of Arts degree from Rutgers University – Newark and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Michigan State University. He has experience teaching various courses at the undergraduate level, including Introduction to Criminal Justice and Police and Society. Jeremy also has experience as a Crime Analyst for a municipal police department. His research interests include geographic information systems (GIS) and spatial analysis, policing, and police practice and innovation. He has published in Crime & Delinquency and Cityscape.
