Bright Receives 2023 Spring Student Research Award from ADPCCJ

Congratulations to Rutgers-Newark School of Criminal Justice Phd Candidate Katherine Bright!

Katherine has received a funded award from the Association of Doctoral Programs in Criminology and Criminal Justice (ADPCCJ) for the 2023 Spring Student Research Award.

The award will be used to support survivor and trauma-informed methods in her dissertation, The Digital Footprint of Sexual Violence. Specifically, to support survivor-participants by offering peer-interviewers and survivor-only spaces to debrief after interviews, as well as to continue to provide equitable consulting contracts for the survivor-leaders on her team and incentives for a small evaluation project about the use of trauma-informed methods in research.
