RDCJN’s inaugural “Research Experience for Undergraduates” in progress

RDCJN’s Co-PIs received a grant through a joint program of the NIJ and NSF to support a Research Experience For Undergraduates (REU). This program is now in progress.  We are currently hosting 8 undergraduates across 4 sites:  Shauntece Laurant and Brianda Ruiz Chavez (UCI); Fatema Medhat (UMSL); Justin Alexanderand Maribel Jáuregui (UNM); and Cynthia Cupe, Juan (J.C.) Ghiorzo, and Ryan Whyte (Rutgers).  Faculty mentors are:  Ana Muñiz (UCI); Stephanie DiPietro and Lee Slocom (UMSL); Chrstopher Lyons and María Vélez(UNM), and Sarah Lageson (Rutgers).
