Scholarships, Fellowships and Financial Aid

Numerous fellowship and scholarship opportunities are available to undergraduate and graduate students pursuing degrees in criminal justice.

Undergraduate Scholarships

Qualified undergraduate students who are interested in exploring a career with the New Jersey State Police can apply for the New Jersey State Police Scholars Program. The program provides scholarships, work experience and internships, and is the first police education program that unites a state police organization with a public research university. Scholarships are available to students from various majors including, but not limited to, criminal justice. The program offers the opportunity to gain valuable work experience in forensic sciences, business, communications and other areas. Numerous other scholarships also are available to qualifying undergraduate students.

Graduate Fellowships

Several fellowship opportunities are available to students pursuing their master’s degrees as well as Ph.D. candidates.
