Bio
Joanna (Jo) is currently a doctoral student under the advisement of Dr. Paul Boxer at the Rutgers School of Criminal Justice. Her research largely focuses on the intersection of gang involvement, juvenile delinquency, and best practice interventions for high-risk youth. Her dissertation aims to inform policy, research, and practice concerning the management of youth who are at increased risk of entering the justice system. Jo is currently involved in several projects at the Rutgers Center on Youth Violence and Juvenile Justice. She holds a Masters degree in Social Work from Rutgers University and Masters degree in European Studies from Jagiellonian University.
